These pages compose the first diary of 13 written by Edward Mooney of his WW1 adventures, and a Diary written by his Wife Josephine Connolly on a trip back to Ireland (with a 3year old Ted Mooney) in 1923 These diaries were transcribed word for word by K.Williams and A.Williams, spelling nor grammar has been changed.

These writings not only provide a unique insight to the time they were written, but also give us an understanding and a 'feel' for the individual who wrote them.
